In Memory of Robert A Gregory, Director of Education It was with heavy heart that we announced Robert A. Gregory's passing on Dec 9, 2011. As some of you know, Bob was a long-time Society member and Governor of the Board. Bob served as Director of Education from 1974 through 2004. He also served as Society President in 1973. Shortly after Bob retired in 2004, we awarded him the title of Director of Education Emeritus. This honorarium represented the first ever given to a member in the 60 year history of the Columbia Society. In addition to the title, the Society designated two scholarship awards, to be called the Robert A. Gregory Education Scholarships, to be given to students in the "R" and "G" qualifying classes. In Bob's memory the Society is now accepting donations to the Robert A. Gregory Scholarship Fund. All donations to this fund will go towards helping to pay tuition costs for a deserving appraisal student. If you knew Bob, please make a donation to this fund.
